JAIPUR LIVING: BUILT FOR THE WAY DESIGNERS SOURCE

2022
COMMERCE EXPERIENCE DESIGN

Jaipur Living's product detail page was reimagined as a working tool, built around the way interior designers actually shop. The focus was on surfacing the right information at the right moment, supporting visual comparison, and creating a more efficient path to purchase within a B2B context. The result is a more informed designer and a more confident recommendation to their client.

Attributes like "Kid and Pet Friendly" are surfaced prominently for easy client and project filtering, with Share and Favorite always within reach. Thumbnails make it easy to flip through views, while a full-screen gallery lets designers evaluate each rug at true scale. Size options and color swatches sit side by side, and stocking and lead time information is right up front — so designers can assess and decide with confidence.

Rich content across video, imagery, and text tells the story behind each collection, giving designers a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship, materials, and intent that make each rug distinct. The result is a more informed designer, and a more confident recommendation to their client.

A gallery of inspiration shows designers how rugs live within real spaces, sparking ideas for current and future projects. Images appear in three aspect ratios because great architectural photography is about the crop — each frame chosen to show the rug as it was meant to be seen, not forced into a single format.

The recently viewed module supports visual comparison at scale. Displaying up to 12 rugs at once, it gives designers an easy way to scan, compare aesthetics, and build cohesive combinations, supporting a more iterative and exploratory workflow.

The component library was designed with restraint and flexibility in mind. A structured system of modules allows for consistency across the site, while giving the team the freedom to tailor each PDP based on product needs.

Within the CMS, multiple image ratios were supported to accommodate a range of asset types—from studio photography to lifestyle and social content—acknowledging that a single format doesn’t fit all use cases. Flexible content blocks enable the client to layer in as much educational or editorial content as needed, supporting both storytelling and product clarity.
